nella mia bolla_

The nella mia bolla (inside my bubble) project is an interactive installation designed to explore the concept of comfort zones. At the heart of the installation is a chair equipped with a light-sensitive sensor connected to an Arduino board.

This sensor is triggered when someone sits in the chair. When activated, the sensor changes the audio environment of the room. While people are standing, the audio is unsettling and disturbing. However, as soon as someone sits down, embracing their comfort zone, the audio transforms into the soothing sound of birds chirping.

This shift in sound symbolizes the transition into a personal comfort zone. Additionally, a looped animation is projected in front of the seated individuals. The installation invites participants to reflect on the nature of comfort zones and how they affect our behavior and perceptions.
